Detox Your Way to Radiant Health

A systemic cleansing and detox is definitely the way to go after each holiday. It is the key to stabilizing high blood pressure, reducing risk for heart disease, cancer, and other health-related illnesses. I get asked quite often, how do I detox? What is a detox you recommend? Even if I don't get asked, some clients come to me so stopped up, that I know we cannot clear their energy or emotions until the digestive system is relaxed. Often times, we walk around with our stomach in knots thinking that our life is in knots. If we release the toxins, it is amazing how much more effortless life seems. It is all a matter of perspective, but from experience, when the energy is clear, our light can shine brightly, and we have the energy to see and feel what we need to keep clearing in order to awaken to greater radiance.

Things to be mindful of when considering a detox or cleanse.
*Notice your energy before you begin. If you are all considering a cleanse or a detox, you may already be aware of your energy, and notice also how your energy shifts during and after the cleanse.
*The first 2-3 days may not be pleasant. If you can breakthrough the hump, you will feel so much better in the long run.
*Plan to spend more time being quiet and alone. Journal if you like, and give yourself plenty of rest.
*Drink water.
*Get optimal sleep, try to be in bed at 10-11 pm and allow yourself to wake naturally, if you can.
*Add in slowly the foods you cut out. Try one at a time, for a few days. Such as: if you cut out dairy, add just dairy in and 5-7 days later, add in something else you cut out--such as wheat--if you like. Notice the impact on your energy, mood and digestion.
